About Joe Draper

Joe is surrounded by the happy faces of his wife, 6 children, 9 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren. He retired after working for the State of California as a certified air-conditioner repairman for 40 years. After his retirement, he decided to pursue his culinary passion through J&J's BBQ & Fish. Joe believes in contributing to the community and he has made community-involvement a part of his business' mission. Joe is a devout Christian and serves the Antioch Missionary Baptist Church as a deacon and a teacher. He participates and executes initiatives to provide free food to the homeless and help the needy in every way possible. He coordinates these initiatives with local colleges and business and is an inspiration to everyone who knows him.
